Zoo Med Repti Rock Food Dish
A feeding dish that disappears into the scenery. The Zoo Med Repti Rock Food Dish moulds a realistic stone finish over a smooth, non-porous bowl, so it blends into a naturalistic terrarium instead of looking like plastic tableware. It's sized from Small through X-Large, and every size shares the same low-profile shape that keeps food within easy reach of small and young reptiles.
Key features
- Low-profile design – food sits close to the substrate, so geckos, skinks and hatchlings don't have to climb to reach it.
- Smooth, non-porous surface – resists bacterial build-up and wipes clean in seconds, unlike unglazed ceramic or raw wood.
- 100% recycled plastic – virtually indestructible and survives being knocked around by an enthusiastic feeder.
- Rock-look finish – sits naturally among substrate and hardscape instead of standing out.
- Nests with the matching Repti Rock Water Dish for a tidy, same-style feeding station.

Which size do I need?
Match the dish to the animal, not just the enclosure. Small suits hatchlings and small geckos; Medium suits adult leopard geckos and similar-sized skinks; Large and X-Large suit bearded dragons and larger lizards that need more feeding space or a dish that can't be tipped over.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to arid and humid terrarium setups – geckos, skinks, frogs, hatchlings and similar dry-goods feeding stations. Not designed as a substrate-buried dish, and not a water reservoir – pair it with the matching Repti Rock Water Dish for drinking water.
Care and maintenance
Wash with warm water and reptile-safe cleaner between feeds, especially with live or gut-loaded insects that can foul the surface. The non-porous finish means it doesn't need soaking or scrubbing to come clean.
Goes well with
The matching Repti Rock Water Dish in the same size, calcium and supplement dusting powder, and feeding tongs for animals that shouldn't be hand-fed.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel.
Common questions
Can this dish go in the dishwasher?
Zoo Med doesn't publish dishwasher instructions for this range; hand-washing in warm water is the safest way to avoid heat warping the recycled plastic.
Will crickets or roaches climb out of it?
The low profile that makes it easy for reptiles to feed from also makes it easy for live insects to climb out – dust and release feeders directly rather than relying on the dish to contain them.
What colour will I receive?
The rock-look finish is produced in more than one colourway; the colour received may vary from the product photo.
Does it come with the matching water dish?
No – the food and water dishes are sold separately so you can size and buy each to suit the animal.
