From Fort Payne, Alabama, Continuum Aquatics makes reef chemistry, and the part of its range we stock is about biology and nutrient control rather than calcium, alkalinity and magnesium. Bacter Gen M is a live marine bacterial culture that shortens the cycle on a new tank; Bacter Gen MD is its anaerobic partner for denitrifying bacteria in rock and sand. Clean M digests the grime on rock and glass, Clean Equation M is a flocculant that clumps floating particles, and Captiv Phos Fe is a granular ferric oxide that strips phosphate. ULNS Nitro and ULNS Phos are for ultra low nutrient systems, reef tanks run so lean that corals go short of nitrogen or phosphate and pale, and Redox Plus oxidises dissolved organics.
Test before dosing either ULNS product; nutrients a tank already has only feed algae.
