ReVive Coral Cleaner was developed by Julian Sprung for Two Little Fishies, and it is a dip for new corals before they go anywhere near your display tank. It is based on plant extracts rather than harsh chemicals, mixed fresh in a separate container of tank water for each dip, and used as a short bath for stony corals, soft corals, zoanthids and anemones. The dip loosens shipping slime, algae film and surface pests so they can be swirled and rinsed off. The coral then goes into quarantine or the display, and the dip water is thrown out, never tipped back into the tank.
Dip every new coral, whoever it comes from. It takes a few minutes and helps keep pests such as flatworms and nudibranchs out of your reef.
