Three bottles, three jobs – calcium and trace elements, iodine and pH buffering, and a second alkalinity buffer, dosed daily to hold reef parameters steady. Aqua Medic Tri Complex is a three-part liquid reef supplement for maintaining calcium, magnesium, strontium and alkalinity in a marine or reef aquarium, rather than a one-off water treatment. Each 2 litre bottle in the pack is a different component, dosed together in equal amounts once a day.

Dosage and directions
Start at 10 mL of each of the three bottles per 100 L of aquarium water, once a day, dosed at the same time. Test calcium, magnesium and alkalinity regularly and adjust the dose up or down to hold your tank in the 7–9 dKH range – the starting dose is a baseline, not a fixed prescription, and consumption rises with coral growth and stocking.
Doses per bottle
At the starting dose, each 2 L bottle provides 200 daily doses for a 100 L system (2,000 mL ÷ 10 mL), scaling down as the tank gets bigger – a 200 L tank uses double the daily volume and gets 100 days per bottle.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for established marine and reef aquariums needing ongoing calcium, magnesium, strontium and alkalinity support. Not a substitute for regular water testing – dosing blind against target numbers you haven't measured risks overshooting alkalinity or calcium.
Safety
Keep away from children – these are concentrated aquarium chemicals, not consumer products. Dose into an area of good flow rather than directly onto livestock.

Common questions
Do I dose all three bottles together?
Yes – the starting dose is the same 10 mL per 100 L for each of the three components, dosed together once a day.
Why is the white component cloudy when I add it?
That's normal for this buffer component and clears on its own shortly after dosing.
How long will one pack last?
At the starting dose, each bottle gives roughly 200 daily doses per 100 L of tank water – so a 100 L system gets about 200 days per bottle, and a 300 L system about 65 days, before you need to reorder.
Do I need to test my water before using this?
Yes. The starting dose is a baseline – Aqua Medic's target range is 7–9 dKH, and you should test calcium, magnesium and alkalinity regularly to adjust the dose rather than dosing on a schedule alone.
