Bioscape Plastic Tubing Roll 20-26 mm x 50Mtrs
Bulk tubing for larger canister filters, sump returns and high-flow pond lines that need a 20–26 mm bore. This Bioscape Plastic Tubing Roll supplies 50 metres of flexible plastic hose in a 20–26 mm bore, sold as a full roll for shops, fish rooms and larger systems where a bigger pump or filter needs a wider hose than the standard 16–20 mm size.
Key features
- 50 m roll — enough for a full sump plumbing job, several large canister filters, or as workshop stock for a multi-tank system.
- 20–26 mm bore — sized for larger canister filters, sump return lines and higher-flow pond pumps; check your equipment's stated hose diameter before cutting.
- Cut to length — sold as a continuous roll, so a large system's full plumbing run comes from one product rather than joining shorter pre-cut lengths.
Specifications
| Bore | Roll length | Product code |

| 20–26 mm | 50 m | BIS125 |
Which bore size do I need?
| Roll | Bore | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Bioscape Plastic Tubing 16–20 mm × 50 m | 16–20 mm | Small to mid-size canister filters, standard pond pump lines |
| Bioscape Plastic Tubing 20–26 mm × 50 m | 20–26 mm | Larger canister filters, sump returns, high-flow pond pumps |
Check the hose spigot diameter stated for your specific filter or pump model before ordering — larger canister filters and sump return pumps commonly step up to this bore even on tanks that otherwise look mid-sized.
Will it fit my setup?
Measure the outside diameter of your pump or filter's hose barb directly rather than relying on tank or sump size. If your fitting measures under 20 mm, the 16–20 mm roll will give a tighter, more reliable seal.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for larger canister filters, sump return plumbing and high-flow pond pump lines within the 20–26 mm bore range. Not suitable for smaller hose barbs — an oversized hose forced onto a narrow fitting won't seal properly and is a common cause of a slow leak at the joint.
Care and maintenance
Inspect tubing periodically where it runs over sharp edges, behind a cabinet, or outdoors in direct UV, since all three shorten its working life. Replace any length that has become brittle, cracked or discoloured rather than waiting for it to fail under pressure.
Warranty and delivery
Covered against manufacturing defects under Bioscape's warranty, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Sold as a bulk roll — freight is calculated at checkout given the size and weight of a full 50 m roll.
Common questions
Will this fit a standard sump return pump?
Most sump return pumps and larger canister filters use fittings in the 20–26 mm range, but check the spigot diameter stated for your specific pump model rather than assuming from tank size alone.
Is it sold pre-cut, or as a full roll?
As a full 50 m roll. You cut the lengths you need for your plumbing run and keep the remainder.
What's the difference between this and the 16–20 mm roll?
Bore diameter only — this roll suits 20–26 mm fittings, the smaller roll suits 16–20 mm. Check your pump or filter's stated hose diameter before ordering.
Can I join two lengths together if my run is longer than the roll?
A straight barbed hose connector rated for the same bore will join two lengths, though a single unbroken run is the more reliable option where the plumbing layout allows it.
