Eco Tech Hide Cave
A snug, dark retreat that lowers stress. The Eco Tech Hide Cave gives reptiles, amphibians and fish the enclosed hiding place they instinctively seek. A secure hide is one of the simplest welfare upgrades you can make in an enclosure – hidden animals are calmer animals, and calmer animals eat, shed and behave more naturally. It's made from an inert material safe for both terrariums and aquariums, and comes in three sizes.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
- Suitable for: geckos, juvenile dragons, small snakes and fish, sized to the animal – size 1 for small geckos and juveniles, size 2 for medium lizards and small snakes, XL for larger reptiles.
- Not suitable for: use as the only hide in an enclosure. Provide a hide at both the warm and cool ends of a reptile enclosure so your animal never has to choose between security and temperature.

Yes. It's made from an inert material safe for both terrariums and aquariums.
Which size should I choose?
Size 1 (21 × 14 × 9 cm) suits small geckos and juveniles, size 2 (27 × 20 × 11 cm) suits medium lizards and small snakes, and the XL (45 × 22 × 19 cm) suits larger reptiles. As a rule of thumb, the animal should be able to turn around inside but still feel a snug fit against its sides.
Do I only need one hide?
No. Provide a hide at both the warm and cool ends of a reptile enclosure, so your animal doesn't have to choose between feeling secure and holding the right body temperature.
Does it need cleaning like a porous decoration?
It's inert and easy to lift out and clean, without the tight internal corners that make some hide designs harder to scrub out.
