Fine polishing pads for clearing cloudy water in Fluval FX canister filters. Fluval part A246, sold by Fluval as Quick-Clear, is a 3 pack of thick, ultra fine polyester pads that trap micro-particles (the very fine suspended specks that make water look hazy).

Suitable for FX2, FX4, FX5 and FX6 owners who want to clear hazy water. These pads are mechanical media only, so run them alongside your filter's biological media rather than instead of it.
Care
Fine pads clog faster than coarse foam, so check them at each filter clean and replace them when they are dirty. Fluval's FX manual says never to use soap or detergent on filter parts.
