Juwel Digital Thermometer 3.0
A clear read of your tank's actual temperature, from outside the hood. The Juwel Digital Thermometer 3.0 clips onto the aquarium cover flap and reads the water through a 100 cm wired sensor, so you get an accurate number without reaching into the tank or squinting at a stick-on strip.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums of any size, wherever there's a cover flap or hood lip to clip the display to. Not a replacement for a controller probe on a chiller or heating system that needs to switch equipment automatically – this unit only displays a reading, it doesn't control anything.

Common questions
Does the sensor need to sit near the heater or the inlet?
No – for the most representative reading, place the sensor away from the heater and any filter outlet, where the water is well mixed with the rest of the tank.
Will the battery last long?
Juwel doesn't publish a runtime figure for the 3.0. As a simple digital display running on one AA cell, expect it to run for many months of normal use before the battery needs replacing.
Can I use it on a marine tank?
Yes, the sensor and housing are safe for both freshwater and saltwater use.
Does it replace my heater's built-in thermostat display?
It's a good independent check on it. Many heater thermostats drift over time, and a separate thermometer catches that before it affects your fish.
