The Juwel SmartFeed 2.0 mounts into the opening of a Juwel aquarium cover and dispenses flake or granulate food up to three times a day, in eight adjustable portion sizes, so stocking levels stay consistent through a weekend away or a longer holiday.

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine tanks fitted with a Juwel cover that has a feeder opening. Not designed for pellet food larger than standard granulate size, and not a substitute for checking on the tank during genuinely extended absences – it feeds the fish, not the filter or the water quality.
Care and maintenance
Keep the hopper dry between fills – flake and granulate food that's absorbed tank humidity is the most common cause of a jammed conveyor screw. Empty and clean the chamber if food isn't being used within a few weeks, since flake food loses nutritional value and can go stale.

Common questions
Will it fit any aquarium, or only Juwel tanks?
It's designed to fit the feeder opening moulded into Juwel aquarium covers. It can be adapted to other covers with a large enough opening, but Juwel doesn't publish a universal fitting guarantee.
What happens if the batteries die while I'm away?
Feeding stops until the batteries are replaced or the unit is connected to USB-C power – there's no backup power source, so check battery level before a longer trip.
Can I feed pellets instead of flake?
The twin conveyor screws are built for flake and granulate food. Larger pellets aren't listed as a supported food type.
Does it work on a marine tank?
Yes – it's not species or water-type specific, provided your food is flake or granulate.
