Key features

Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums, plumbed after mechanical filtration with a valve to set the flow. Not a substitute for quarantine; it only treats water that passes through it, not disease already on the fish. The Advantage quartz sleeve is the matching spare.
Safety
Mains-powered wet-area appliance: run it from an RCD (safety switch) protected outlet, and never look at the lit lamp outside its housing; UV-C can damage eyes and skin.
