Deepsee Viewer Rechargeable LED Spotlight
A clip-on torch that turns any DeepSee viewer into a spotlight. The Flipper DeepSee Viewer Rechargeable LED Spotlight is a USB-rechargeable light accessory that attaches to any Flipper DeepSee magnetic viewer - Nano, Standard or Max. It throws a focused, torch-like beam through the lens rather than the wide wash of a room light, which is what lets it pick out coral polyp detail or a nocturnal fish that a normal aquarium light misses.
Key features
- Blue and white LEDs with independent switches - run either colour alone or both together, so you can match the light to the tank's own lighting or switch to true white for colour-accurate photography.
- Compatible with all DeepSee viewers - Nano, Standard and Max models all take the same clip-on spotlight.
- USB rechargeable - no disposable batteries to replace; a charging cable is included.
- Simple on/off attachment - clips onto the viewer and comes off again without tools.
- Focused, torch-like beam - built to light the viewer's field of view specifically, rather than spread light across the whole tank.

What's included
The rechargeable LED spotlight unit and a USB charging cable. It attaches to a Flipper DeepSee viewer, which is sold separately.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for: viewing nocturnal tank inhabitants after lights-out, coral photography where a focused light beats a wide room light, and checking coral or fish for early signs of pests or disease in detail.
Not suitable for: use as a general aquarium light - it's a small clip-on torch for the viewer's field of view, not a display light for the tank. It also does not include a DeepSee viewer; you need one already, or bought alongside it, for the spotlight to attach to.
Care and maintenance
Wipe the unit dry after use and keep the USB charging port dry and covered when not charging. Recharge fully before extended use so the beam doesn't dim mid-session.
Goes well with
- Flipper DeepSee Clear Viewer with 4in Lens - the standard-size viewer this spotlight clips onto.
- Flipper DeepSee Orange Filter Lens Nano 3in - pair the spotlight's white LED with the orange filter for colour-accurate fluorescence photography.
Warranty and delivery
Flipper does not publish a separate warranty term for this accessory beyond its general product warranty; your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless. Ships as standard freight.
Common questions
Which DeepSee viewers does this fit?
All of them - Flipper states it's compatible with the Nano, Standard and Max DeepSee viewers.
Do I need to buy batteries separately?
No. It's USB rechargeable and comes with a charging cable, so there are no disposable batteries to buy or replace.
Can I use just the white LED, or just the blue?
Yes. The blue and white LEDs have individual switches, so you can run either one on its own or both together depending on what you're trying to see.
Does it come with a viewer?
No. This listing is the spotlight accessory only. You'll need a Flipper DeepSee viewer for it to clip onto.
What's the battery runtime?
Flipper hasn't published a runtime figure for this spotlight, so we haven't invented one. Get in touch if you need a firm number before buying and we'll check with the supplier.
