Flipper Maintenance Kit - Replacement Pads
Replacement scrubber and handle pads to bring an ageing Flipper cleaner back to full strength. This kit supplies a handle replacement pad and an internal scrubber pad, both on hook-and-loop backing, for the classic Flipper Standard or Flipper Max magnetic cleaner. Choose the variant that matches your cleaner - this is not for the Edge or Edge Max range.

Which one do I need?
Match the variant to your cleaner, not your tank thickness directly - the pad is sized to the handle, and the handle is what determines the thickness rating. If you own the Flipper Standard cleaner, choose the Standard pad kit. If you own the Flipper Max cleaner, choose the Max pad kit. This kit does not fit the Flipper Edge or Edge Max range, which use blade cartridges rather than adhesive-backed pads.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for: Flipper Standard and Flipper Max magnetic cleaners that have lost scrubbing power or grip. Not suitable for: the Flipper Edge or Edge Max range, the Flipper Nano, or any non-Flipper magnetic cleaner.
Care and maintenance
Replace the scrubber pad once it stops lifting algae cleanly, and the handle pad once grip on the outer magnet weakens. There is no fixed replacement interval - it depends on how coarse the algae in your tank is and how often the cleaner is used.

Warranty and delivery

Common questions
Will this fit my Flipper Edge?
No. The Edge and Edge Max use replacement blade cartridges, not adhesive pads - see the Edge blade packs instead.
How do I know if I have the Standard or Max cleaner?
The Max is the larger of the two units and is rated to thicker glass or acrylic - up to 24 mm against the Standard's 12 mm. Check the model name on the original packaging if you are unsure.
Does the pad use adhesive or hook-and-loop?
Hook-and-loop backing - it presses into place on the existing handle and float without glue.
