Versa Base Station
Four dosing pumps, one power cord. The EcoTech Marine Versa Base Station is the docking rail for the Versa peristaltic dosing pump system: it lets you clip up to four individual Versa VX-1 pump heads onto a single rail and run them from one consolidated power supply, instead of four separate wall adaptors cluttering the cabinet behind your tank.
Key features
- Docks up to four Versa pumps – slide each VX-1 pump head onto the rail; no separate stand or bracket needed per pump.
- One power supply for the whole rail – replaces up to four individual Versa power supplies with a single universal adaptor.
- Tactile indexing buttons – locate and select an individual pump on the rail by feel, without needing to see the unit from behind the cabinet door.
- Works with the Mobius app – each docked pump is still programmed individually, in Auto, Continuous or Manual mode.
- Tidier cabinet wiring – one cord and one power point instead of up to four.

Which one do I need? Base Station vs standalone Versa
A single Versa VX-1 pump ships with its own power supply and its own mounting bracket, so you don't need a Base Station to run one or two pumps. The Base Station earns its keep once you're running three or four dosers – calcium, alkalinity, magnesium and a trace element, say – and don't want four separate power bricks fighting for space in the stand.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suitable for consolidating up to four Versa VX-1 dosing pump heads onto one rail and one power supply. Not a dosing pump itself – you still need to buy the Versa pump heads separately, and it doesn't work with any other brand's peristaltic pump.
What's included
Base station rail and a power supply. Versa pump heads, tubing and dosing containers are sold separately.
Care and maintenance
The base station itself has no consumable parts. Maintenance – tube replacement and lubrication – is done at the individual pump head, on the schedule EcoTech publishes for the Versa system: lubricate every 3,000 gallons treated or 6 months, and replace the tube assembly every 6,000 gallons or 12 months, whichever comes first for each pump.
Safety
Mains-powered accessory rated for 110–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz – suitable for the Australian 240 V supply without a separate transformer. Keep the power supply and cabling clear of any water spill or splash zone in the cabinet.
Goes well with
- Versa Replacement Tube Assy w Retainer
- Versa Single 24V 1A power supply – a spare for a standalone pump
- Versa Single Mounting Bracket
Warranty and delivery

Common questions
Do I need a Base Station to run a Versa pump?
No. A single Versa VX-1 pump comes with its own power supply and mounting bracket and runs perfectly well on its own. The Base Station is for consolidating multiple pumps.
Can I add pumps to the Base Station later?
Yes – dock up to four in total, and add them as your dosing needs grow, up to that limit.
Does each pump still need its own program?
Yes. The Base Station shares power and physical mounting, but each pump head is still scheduled individually through the Mobius app.
Will it work on Australian 240 V power?
Yes – the power supply accepts 110–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, so it runs on Australian mains without a converter.
