Zoo Med Repti Rock Water Dish
A water dish that looks like it grew in the enclosure. The Zoo Med Repti Rock Water Dish moulds a realistic stone finish over a smooth, non-porous bowl, giving a naturalistic look without the weight, roughness or bacteria risk of real rock. It's sized from Extra Small through X-Large, with moulded internal steps that let small reptiles and amphibians climb back out if they fall in.
Key features
- Smooth, non-porous surface – won't harbour bacteria, stain or leak, and wipes clean in seconds.
- Moulded internal steps – help small reptiles and amphibians climb out safely rather than becoming trapped against a sheer wall.
- Low lip – easy drinking access for animals that won't or can't climb into a deep bowl.
- 100% recycled plastic – virtually indestructible and resists cracking if knocked or dropped.
- Nests with the matching Repti Rock Food Dish for a coordinated feeding station.

Which size do I need?
Size the dish so the animal can comfortably soak or drink without the water depth being a drowning risk for a hatchling. Extra Small and Small suit hatchlings, small geckos and frogs; Medium suits adult leopard geckos; Large and X-Large give bearded dragons and bigger lizards room to soak as well as drink.
Suitable for, and not suitable for
Suited to arid and humid terrarium setups for geckos, skinks, frogs, invertebrates and hatchlings that need shallow, easy-access water. Not designed as a permanent soaking pool for large aquatic or semi-aquatic species – those need a dedicated water feature sized to the animal.
Care and maintenance
Empty and refresh water daily, and wash with warm water and a reptile-safe cleaner regularly – the non-porous surface wipes clean without scrubbing, but standing water still needs changing as often as any water dish.
Goes well with
The matching Repti Rock Food Dish in the same size, and a reptile-safe water conditioner if using tap water.
Warranty and delivery
Covered by your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Ships as a standard parcel.
Common questions
Can small lizards climb out if they fall in?
Yes – the moulded internal steps are designed specifically to give small reptiles and amphibians a way to climb back out rather than being trapped against a smooth vertical wall.
Is it safe for humidity-loving species that soak often?
Yes, the dishes are designed for regular soaking as well as drinking; just refresh the water daily since frequent soaking fouls it faster than drinking alone.
What colour will I receive?
The rock-look finish is produced in more than one colourway; the colour received may vary from the product photo.
Does it come with the matching food dish?
No – the water and food dishes are sold separately so each can be sized to the animal.
