Suitable for: acrylic aquariums and acrylic sump baffles cleaned with a Flipper Max cleaner.
Not suitable for: glass tanks, where the stainless steel blade that ships with the Max works better and lasts longer. Not compatible with the Flipper Nano or Flipper Standard cleaners, which use different blade sizes.
Care and maintenance
Flipper recommends changing the blade every two to five months of regular use, sooner in a heavily algae-laden tank. A blade that has gone soft at the edge or picked up a nick will drag rather than scrape, and is worth replacing before it leaves streaks.

No. This blade is sized for the Flipper Max only. The Nano and Standard cleaners each take their own blade size, so check the model printed on your cleaner before ordering.
Can I use this blade on a glass tank?
You can, but there is no reason to. The stainless steel blade that ships with the Flipper Max scrapes glass more effectively and lasts longer there. Keep the ABS blade for acrylic surfaces, where a metal blade would scratch.
How often should I replace the blade?
Every two to five months of regular use is the manufacturer's guide. Replace sooner if you notice the cleaner leaving streaks or dragging rather than scraping cleanly.
