Insectivore Goldfish Pellets
A sinking pellet built around insect protein, sized for goldfish mouths. Insectivore Goldfish Pellets lead with mealworm meal and black soldier fly larvae meal rather than fishmeal alone, giving fancy and common goldfish a protein source closer to what they would forage naturally. The 2 mm pellet sinks slowly, so surface-feeding fancy varieties and bottom-grazing common goldfish both get a fair share.

Mealworm meal & black soldier fly larvae meal (insect meal), herring meal, wheat flour, brewer's yeast, mycoprotein, whole pea, alfalfa, shrimp meal, garlic, carrot, mealworm oil, salmon oil, spirulina, sugar, soya meal, carrot powder. Contains added vitamins A, D3, C and E, astaxanthin, L-lysine, DL-methionine, betaine, beta-glucans, iron, iodine, copper, manganese, zinc and L-carnitine. No preservatives are named on the manufacturer's ingredient declaration. The formula includes fish- and shellfish-derived ingredients (herring meal, shrimp meal) worth noting if anyone handling the food has a seafood allergy.

Feeding directions
Feed once or twice a day, offering only what the fish clear in a couple of minutes. Remove anything left over rather than letting it break down in the tank. Overfeeding is the most common reason goldfish water fouls quickly, since goldfish rarely stop eating on their own.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place and reseal the pack firmly after each feed to keep moisture out.

Yes. The slow-sinking 2 mm pellet is a common choice for fancy varieties, though soaking pellets briefly before feeding can help fish that are prone to swim bladder trouble.
Can I feed this to koi in an outdoor pond?
It's formulated for aquarium goldfish rather than outdoor pond use. For ponds, look for a food designed specifically for koi and pond goldfish, which is typically a larger floating stick.
How much should I feed at each meal?
There's no fixed pellet count. Feed the amount the fish finish within a couple of minutes, once or twice a day, and reduce the amount if food is left over.
Does this pellet cloud the water?
