Radion RMS G6/G5 Slide
The part that lets you aim a light, not just hang one.
The Radion RMS G6/G5 Slide is Part C of EcoTech Marine's Multi-Light RMS system – the bracket that clamps a single Radion to the RMS track and then lets it travel along that track and rotate in place. You need one slide for every fixture on the rail. Choose the XR15 version or the XR30 version to match the light, because the two are different parts.

- Horizontal and rotational adjustment – move the fixture along the rail and turn it, so the light lands over the rockwork instead of the centre of the tank.
- One slide, one light – buy a slide each time you add a Radion to the track.
- XR15 and XR30 versions – sized to the fixture housing, and both run on the same track.
- Fits G5 and G6 – this is the current-generation slide, not the older XR15/XR30 slide.

If you are running a mix of XR15 and XR30 fixtures on one track, order the matching slide for each light. They coexist on the same rail without any adapter.

How the Multi-Light RMS goes together
EcoTech sells this mount as three parts, bought separately. Every page in the family carries the same table so you can see what is still missing from your basket.

Suitable for, and not suitable for

- Adding another Radion to an existing Multi-Light RMS track

- Aquascapes where the light needs to sit off-centre
Not suitable for:
- Use on its own – there must be a track and either arms or a hanging kit
- The Single Light RMS tank mount, which is a different, self-contained product
- Non-Radion fixtures
- Radion G4 and earlier – EcoTech does not publish compatibility for this slide with those generations, so we will not claim it. If you run a G4, ask us before ordering.
Care and maintenance
A slide that has not moved in a year will be salted into place. Wipe the track and the slide body down when you clean the glass, and slide each fixture a few centimetres back and forth occasionally so it does not seize.
Support the fixture with one hand whenever you loosen a slide. Nothing holds the light once the clamp is released.

Warranty and delivery
EcoTech Marine warrants the mounting system and parts for 30 days from purchase against manufacturing defects and workmanship. This sits in addition to the consumer guarantees you have under Australian Consumer Law, which a manufacturer's warranty cannot displace.
International warranty service is handled through the local distributor, so Australian claims come back through us. Ships as a standard parcel.
Common questions
How many slides do I need?
One for every Radion on the track. A Multi-Light RMS carrying three fixtures needs three slides, plus one track and one arm kit.
Is the XR15 slide the same as the XR30 slide?
No. They are separate parts – XR726 for the XR15 and XR727 for the XR30 – because the fixture housings differ in size. Both attach to the same RMS track.
Will this slide fit my Radion G4?
EcoTech publishes this slide as a G5 and G6 part and does not state compatibility with G4 or earlier, so we do not claim it fits. Contact us with your fixture model before ordering if you are running an older generation.
Can I move the light after it is installed?
Yes, that is the point of the slide. It travels horizontally along the track and rotates, so you can reposition a fixture after a rescape without touching the track or the arms.
Does the slide come with the track?
No. The EcoTech Multi-Light RMS is sold as three separate purchases – track, arm kit, and one slide per fixture.
